The European Congress of Radiology was held in Vienna between March 1-5, 2023, which was a busy week for us too!
Prof. Karim Lekadir from the University of Barcelona, and the Coordinator of RadioVal, has travelled to Vienna to present the RadioVal project in person during the session “Advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment: EIBIR projects”.
In addition, Prof. Lekadir was also invited for an interview dedicated to “unlocking the potential of AI in breast cancer care” and shared more about the aims, objectives and mission of RadioVal. There was also a possibility to elaborate more on collaboration opportunities with the other EU-funded projects that he discussed with Prof. Daniel Truhn, the Coordinator of the ODELIA project.

- Visit the session page on ESR Connect and select the session you would like to attend.
- Click on ‘Login’ in the upper right corner and enter your ESR MyUserArea credentials or create a new ESR account for free(after you have created your account please visit the session page once again).
- The session is now saved in your user menu under ‘My Courses’ which can be accessed via your user icon in the upper right corner.
- When the session starts, log-into your account and visit the session page, where the livestream will start automatically.
EIBIR (European Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Research), the official project management and dissemination partner of RadioVal, was present during the whole week of the Congress and invited participants to learn more about RadioVal at their booth.
