The Alexander Fleming Institute (IAF) is an institution specialized in Oncology, is based in Latin America and represents the medical scientific vanguard in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research, teaching, and containment.

IAF’s role as an institution is to validate the RadioVal tool by enrolling 200 female patients who will undergo Neoadjuvant chemotherapy and providing data of magnetic resonance imaging. With the use of Breast MRI, they test the RadioVal tool to validate the accuracy of the prognosis of pathological response after treatment, with the gold standard of the final post-surgical pathological outcome.
MD Daniel Mysler is a Radiologist and Consultant physician in imaging diagnosis by the Argentinean Society of Radiology SAR. He is also a Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging and Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Service at Alexander Fleming Institute. He is an accredited Specialist in Breast Imaging and an Associate Professor at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He has made more than 100 publications and dissertations at national and international congresses and is Past President of the Argentine Society of Radiology and a Member of the ESR, RSNA, as well as an honorary member of the ARRS.
MD Lisandro Paganini is aMedical Doctor and appointed Deputy Chief of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of the Alexander Fleming Institute. He graduated from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, specializing in diagnostic imaging from UBA. He completed a Medical Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires from 2004 to 2008 and was appointed Chief Resident between 2008/9. From 2009 to 2016 he was PET/CT Medical Coordinator at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires and currently a full member of the Argentine Society of Radiology and a Certified Specialist by CONAEDI. Furthermore, he is also an adherent member of ESR (European Society of Radiology), RSNA (Radiological Society of North America), ESOI (European Society of Oncologic Imaging), and ESHI (European Society of Hybrid Imaging).
MD Jorge Carlos Nadal is a Physician who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1982. He is a specialist in Clinical Oncology and Head of the Breast Oncology section of the Alexander Fleming Institute. He is also dedicated to teaching as a Medical Specialist Oncology at the UBA. He has made more than 100 publications and multiple dissertations, and participated on national and international congresses. He is a member of the Argentine Association of Clinical Oncology and ESMO. He was elected President of the first Argentine Congress on Cancer Prevention and Genomics and he is part of the group that participates in multiple Clinical Trials as Principal Investigator and Subinvestigator in IAF.
Maria Laura Cosaka is a radiologist who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. She is part of the Medical Staff of the Breast Diagnostic and Interventional Department of Alexander Fleming Institute. She has specialized in Diagnostic Imaging at the Angel A. Roffo Oncology Institute, and she is also accredited in Breast Imaging by the Argentine Society of Radiology/Argentine Society of Mastology. Additionally, she is also teaching the Breast Imaging module of the SAR.
