SHINE 2Europe presented the Horizon Europe project RadioVal on November 24th, at the III Conference on Societal Health, organised by ISCTE Saúde, in Lisbon.
This presentation was included in a panel moderated by Susana Azevedo, under the topic Participation and Inclusion in Health with Marta Matos and Ana Correia de Barros, where the example of the project RadioVal was put forward to discuss its ambitious framework for social innovation and stakeholder engagement, led by SHINE in Work Package 1.
RadioVal is coordinated by the University of Barcelona, and it is the first major multi-centre, multi-continental and multi-disciplinary project to clinically validate an AI solution for the prediction of NAC efficacy in breast cancer, in 8 clinical centers across Europe, South America, North Africa and Eurasia.
In the next 4 years we will work hard to understand with stakeholders how to make RadioVal feasible in common oncological practice, validate the RadioVal tool and advance to fight breast cancer.
