The RadioVal project was represented at the 4th Algarve Breast Cancer Congress by Carina Dantas, CEO of SHINE 2Europe, one of the project’s key partners.
Carina Dantas addressed one of the most urgent issues of our time: the need to ensure artificial intelligence (AI) is ethical and secure. Speaking on the theme “Ethics and Artificial Intelligence: Protecting the Human in the Digital Age,” she shared valuable insights on the intersection of technology and fundamental rights within the healthcare sector.
In her presentation, Carina Dantas emphasised SHINE’s contributions to AI ethics, social innovation, and the involvement of diverse stakeholders in the creation of AI tools for cancer care, with a particular focus on the RadioVal project as a prime example.
